Linda Del Sarto (1994) graduated in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners and obtained a master’s degree in Print and Digital Publishing from the Cattolica University of Milan. Nominated for the Rimini Prize and a finalist for the Landi and LILEC prizes for poetry translation, she is featured in the XV Quaderno italiano di poesia contemporanea published by Marcos y Marcos (2021). Some of her texts have appeared in La Repubblica di Milano for Maurizio Cucchi’s “Bottega di poesia”, Poeti Oggi, Atelier Poesia, Lietocolle, Franca Mancinelli’s Diario di passo and in the magazines versodove N.22 and Articoli Liberi N.2, Sinuosità. She translated Michał Rusinek’s children’s book Piccole poesie di famiglia (MIMebù, 2021) from Polish, receiving the 2022 Benno Geiger Award as Young Translator, Wisława Szymborska’s Canzone nera (Adelphi 2022) and Małgorzata Lebda’s Mer de Glace (Valigie Rosse 2024).
She also participated in the seminar “DI-VERSIFICANDO”: poetry, translation, publishing at the University of Bologna for two consecutive years.
After working at Garzanti, she currently lives and works in Bologna.
