Agustín Fernández Paz (1947-2016) is one of the best known and most appreciated writers in the field of children’s and young people’s literature, in Galicia and throughout Spain. A professor and writer, he is the author of more than fifty titles that have received numerous national and international prizes and awards. These include four mentions in the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award and three mentions in the IBBY Honour List.
