June is the Pride month, and to celebrate it MIMebù, in collaboration with Genderlens, participates in Queeresima, a political and cultural project curated by the ARC Cagliari association, a calendar of events that create a 40-day pathway between the World Day against homo-bi-trans-lesbian-intersex-aphobia, 17 May, and the Stonewall Riots on 28 June.
The aim is to promote culture and defend the rights and freedoms of LGBTQIA+ people.

Through reading Dobbiamo essere leoni by Line Baugstø (MIMebù 2021) we acknowledge the trans experience in the school.

MIMebù publishing house, with Federica Caslotti, will discuss this with Michela Mariotto and Betta Ferrari of the GenderLens Association.

GenderLens is an association of parents with gender variant or trans children/adolescents who claim rights for these young lives. Rights that in Italy are denied on a legislative and institutional as well as a social level. But trans childhood and adolescence also exist in Italy!
