Gerda Märtens is an Estonian illustrator and author of children’s books. She began her studies in 2005 at the Fine Arts Department of the Estonian Academy and continued in Italy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata. In 2015, she participated in the New York School of Visual Arts Summer Residency in Illustration. Gerda is a member of the Estonian Graphic Designers Association, the Estonian section of IBBY, and the Illustratoren Schweiz association.
