Inês Barahona

Inês Barahona (Lisbon, Portugal, 1977) holds a degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts (University of Lisbon). She joined the Centro de Pedagogia e Animação, of the Centro Cultural de Belém, in 2005, under the direction of Madalena Victorino, where she developed projects on the relationship between arts and education. With Giacomo Scalisi she was responsible for the public relations work at the inauguration of the Teatro Municipal de Portimão, TEMPO, in 2008. In 2014, she founded the company Formiga Atómica with Miguel Fragata, with whom she created the shows A Caminhada dos Elefantes (2013), The Wall (2015), A Visita Escocesa and Do Bosque para o Mundo (2016), Montanha-Russa (2018) and Fake (2020) writing the texts. She collaborates in dramaturgy in shows by different artists. She teaches writing courses for teachers and adults.
