Kinga Maksai
Kinga Maksai was born in 1984 in Budapest. She graduated in Hungarian language and literature and film theory and history at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. She wrote film reviews for the popular online magazine Filmtekercs for years. Her first novel, Mia & Maja, won the Merítés Prize in 2019. Since then, she has published two more novels for children, a children’s picture book and numerous short stories that have appeared in the well-known magazine WMN and in Budapest in 100 Words. She is currently working on her first adult novel.
