Laura Rescio

Laura Rescio (La Spezia, 1970) graduated with honours in Foreign Languages and Literature (Polish and Russian) from the University of Genoa. After living in the Netherlands for a few years and working in information technology, she attended a course in editorial translation held by Isabella Blum and the Master’s in Print and Multimedia Publishing at the University of Bologna directed by Umberto Eco. After an internship at Bollati Boringhieri, she started working with the publishing house on translations, revisions and readings. She has been translating and doing readings from Polish, Dutch and English for more than fifteen years for various publishers, including Adelphi, Piemme, Scheiwiller and Feltrinelli. She is a member of AITI and the publishing translators’ union Strade.
