Lucía Cobo
Lucía Cobo (Lugo, Galicia, 1982), the daughter of a bookseller and a schoolteacher, grew up loving books. Although she studied engineering, she always knew that her true passion was sculpture and drawing. After working for several years as a graphic designer, she obtained a university degree in Illustration Techniques at the Pablo Picasso Higher Artistic Institute of Design in A Coruña (Galicia). In 2013, she attended the Master’s Degree in Illustrated Children’s Albums at the ‘i con i’ School in Madrid. She collaborates with magazines and websites and publishes with several publishers. In 2014, she was awarded an Honourable Mention in the V Catálogo Iberoamericano de Ilustración de México.
