Mariana Malhão (1994, Coimbra) graduated in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto. Her work mainly focuses on illustration, taking on various formats: book, magazine, fanzine, poster, ceramics, murals, among others. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions. In 2018, she illustrated her first book Uma Rosa na Tromba de um Elefante (ed. Orfeu Negro), a volume of poems by António José Forte. She co-created the self-publishing fair Sábado-feira and is co-founder of Senhora Presidenta, a multidisciplinary gallery in Porto, a space shared with Gur.
